The influence of Indian culture on Mauritius is evident and significantly contributes to the overall atmosphere that you experience there. I really enjoyed discovering and observing culture differences here during staying with locals, where we were always met with a warm welcome and all the comfort we needed. In addition to the beautiful sea, the island offers amazing nature and is a great choice for combining day trips with relaxation by the water for the rest of the day.

Rodrigues island

I really hope that this calm island belonging to Mauritius will not succumb to tourist pressure and will maintain its current charm. Although the island is small, memories of it are beautiful. In just a few hours, you can go around the coastal roads on a scooter and its beautiful white beaches, where we were almost always alone, offer space to stop and relax.
