OVERALL IMPRESSION

When we disembarked from the plane, we were welcomed by a refreshing breeze and a distinctive atmosphere that is characteristic of Hawaii. The chirping of birds played in the background and continued until our departure.

Each island can be circumnavigated by car in a single day, but I could spend countless hours leisurely exploring each unique location. After every few kilometers, the landscape transforms, and nature offers something novel. The islands are lovingly maintained, and litter is scarcely found on the ground. There is a prohibition on selling anything on the beaches, and it is customary for visitors to bring their own food and beverages to enjoy on the shore. Everyone takes their waste with them. Carrying beverages in personal containers is the norm, and cafes or vendors will happily replenish your containers with water for free. All parks have sanitary restrooms and fountains with potable water. Only pristine nature and traffic signs line the roads. There are no distracting advertising signs to detract from the surrounding beauty.

There is no other place on Earth to which I yearn to return more than here.
